Topic: collecting spawn
it could be illegall so thought id ask,my local woods has common frogs, common toads & great crested newts,so when the frogs spawn could i get some spawn and bring it back in the garden. i could put like a shallow (or deep) bucket in the ground with water and put them in there,we will have a small rockery next to it,would the frogs survive in this,id try to keep it as undistubred and possible. p.s do GCN give birth to live or spawn to,i could get those to. im enoyed there is no slow-worms there :( http://ukreptiles.proboards55.com |
