Topic: CAVENHAM HEATH YESTERDAY MORNING
Hello. I popped over to Cavenham Heath this morning out of curiosity and i saw one of your signs is that the area the best place to see one. I know this time of year is a waste now. But ive looked at other areas in West Norfolk and this area looks superb as its huge! |

Thankyou. Its meant to warm up later on this week albeit with a drop of rain. Maybe a few will stir? Do you see many Common Lizards on the heath? Bet its also great for Stone Curlew in summer? |

Topic: first herp sightings of 2011??
I was thinking of a Herp trip this weekend but i thought it wouldn't be warm enough. Forecast is colder weather albeit sunny days mostly. Do VBs tend not go back to hibernate if it cools down say 5c? |

Topic: Roydon Common
Hello. Ive made a few visits to Roydon Common and was tipped off for a good area for Hibernacula and today i was over the moon. I counted 14. The place is alive. Also two Natrix Natrix which were alot faster vanishing for a photo...I fancy trying a different location now. Any ideas for Norfolk/Suffolk? |
