we found this common frog under the sink in a dirty paint pot, we think it was there for about a week or two

we are open to ideas about how it got there

most of my tadpoles are 'normal' looking.

however  i have observed several with silver tails.  is this normal? google came up with nothing.

thanks for the reply, i did try taking a picture, but they move like lightening! i didn't see the spawn so i can't tell if their frogs or toads. All my froglets are common frogs. I was hoping i had a rare frog/toad species...next spring i am going to be on the look out for mating calls...and examine my spawn.

i had to give the pond 7 heavy blows with a pick axe to see liquid.

fyi the colder water is the more soluble oxygen becomes so dont worry about dead plants too much
