Topic: Glow-worm numbers!!! please help
Bit of a late reply - apologies, just joined and have been reading the posts! In May 2005, I had a maximum of three Glowworm larvae under a felt on a site just north of Newbury, in Berkshire. |

I've also seen some in Essex near Colchester, only adult females though. Sorry I've misunderstood your post I think Jon, are you measuring the pronotum of the larva to find sex ratios? |

Topic: Rattlesnake round-upos
I've just been forwarded this by one of my work colleagues, thought some of you may be interested in maybe looking into this further and signing the petition. I'll leave it up to you to make your own minds up. I seem to remember a Simpson's episode where the town went on an 'annual snake-bashing day', I didn't realise this really goes on though?
HART's reptile recorder, is very concerned about rattlesnake roundups in New Mexico which he first heard about in the International Herpetological Newsletter. He has asked that the following website petition be forwarded to you all, and that if you share his concern you add your name to the petition.
