Posted: 16 May 2003 I should know better. That little adder that I rescued today - well decided to do a scale-count; yes thats right it got me - on the little finger. That was 1130 this morning I now have a rigid finger, but thats' all. Larger adders are easier to deal with, you can at least tube them, it is a very kind way to handle them - I never never never 'neck them, easiest way to damage a snake, even large vipers like bushmasters. The worse to handle are the little 'uns like Echis - just need lots of different size tubes. Tony Phelps |
