I'll leave it up to you to make your own minds up. I seem to remember a Simpson's episode where the town went on an 'annual snake-bashing day', I didn't realise this really goes on though? HART's reptile recorder, is very concerned about rattlesnake roundups in New Mexico which he first heard about in the International Herpetological Newsletter.
