Hello, I've another picture to identify. In spite of looking at loads of pictures I'm not sure which snake this is.




It was a little over a foot long and quite slim.

Nice pictures for a start.

This is 100% a Smooth Snake (Coronella Austriaca).

Taking a bit of a guess now but to me it looks like a male.

I saw it late afternoon on 16th June, on an area of heath just to the south side of Hatchet Pond in the New Forest.
