Hi everyone I'm new here. Only just discovered this forum. Thought I would mention that I saw a common lizard yesterday afternoon on Woodbury Common (Devon). Not sure of the sex, he/she was basking in the sun on some bracken. I don't know if this particularly early in the year for a lizard to be out. It was reasonably warm, 11 degrees according to my car's thermometer.

I only saw the one and no sign of any adders either.

Nice to see another poster from my neck of the woods. I haunt Aylesbeare Common and Woodbury and a few other local heaths.
