Nice one Dave! It's great when our children show an interest and can have hands on experiences

Was showing my 2 daughters Lizards and Slowwies on Sunday.   My 3 year old wanted to find 'bigger game' so to speak and said "I want to see some Adders" !!

Probably Suzi, she has seen Adders before, but in the New Forest Reptillary.   Dave - a good catch, considering the warm weather we are having as of late.

I live near Mold, used to live by Loggerheads where there used to be an abundance of reptiles.Llandeglas just one of many sites we visit, still yet to see an adder this year or a slow worm.

dave,

lucky you...i love that part of the world. when i was a kid we had a static caravan in a farmers field down a track opposite the clwyd gate inn. just us, a couple of other caravans and the sheep. i used to find loads of toads and newts and the occasional lizard. very very happy memories.

Sorry Phil been neglecting the forum, only just seen the post.Used to see lizards and adders in loggerheads regularly but none for about 15years.However there is a site really near there that I can either show you or direct you to if you send me a private message.

all the best
