Posted: 01 May 2007 hi im new to this site and been reading the posts over the last few weeks. im interested in looking for the green lizards in boscombe but i have a problem i dont know where to look are they near the wall lizard transect seen 328 british sp of birds an 6 sp of brtish reptiles |

Posted: 10 May 2007 hi steve beautiful pics. how big do they grow? its difficult to gauge from the pics but they look significantly bigger and bulkier than common lizards. tim |

Posted: 10 May 2007 @Rick These two were probably about a foot long from nose to tail, but there are some big ones about there. I've heard they grow to 16 inches (40cm), and some look far more bulky than these two slim-liners. For size comparison (same hand): Green lizard left, Common lizard right.
