In my previous experiences, there are normally 1 or 2 people around looking for the lizards, so if in doubt, ask. As for the best time, there were less sightings at the hottest part of the day(it was somewhere between 22-25 degrees C). Mark Hampshire Amphibian and Reptile Group.
