Jeroen

Sounds like you saw a lot of species and had a lot of fun.  Yet another very professional and informative report.

Great pics.

Well done!

Good Report, Looking through the Pictures the picture of that Snake-eyed Skink gives an insight to what the Slow worm might have looked like a fair few thousand years/generations ago. To me it looks like its heading the same way, Legless ( No not drunk  )

These reports are awsome!

You seem to go to all the Euro 'hotspots' and see so many of the animals that you aim to, and to get such great photos of them as well.

I'd love to one day to go on a proper herping trip like you do, e.g. not just a few miles from the villa or hotel, but right out into the unknown to find and photograph the animals we like so much.  Maybe in a few years time........

At what age did you get into reptiles Jeroen, and when did you start to photograph them?

Dan

[/QUOTE]

I started to become a herp lover when I was 10. By the time I was 20, I had seen about all species of my own country plus some easy ones on several holidays that were not really for herping. I started photographing at 18 and switched to digital in 2004 (i.e. at 26). Doing trips specifically aiming at herpetology started in 1999 and had a serious boost in 2004, when I started to travel with friends of the Belgian herpetological Hyla team. Bit funny to talk about me, instead of animals, but here you go.

g's,

J.
