A neighbour was getting rid of some that had surrounded a compost area so I asked if I could have it. I think she thought I was mad. Thought I was madder when I said I wanted to put it down to encourage snakes.

I've done a similar phone round for free or reclaimed tins recentlyu, it seems most reclaimed building suppliers can't retain corrugated sheeting as it gets buckled when buildings are torn down and is then too bulky to store.

Not free i'm afraid, but i've just ordered a load of tins from BBT roofing (01746 781777) I spoke to a helpful guy called Jason and they are supplying pre cut 110cm by 60cm (about 2 foot by 3) for ú2 each, plus ú35 delivery.  I ordered 100 sheets, but he didn't seem to need a large order to do at that price (qoute his ad from ebay that says ú1 a foot for seconds quality if he tries to charge more, it worked for me!) Seems very reasonable if you are charging it back to a client.
