Posted: 07 May 2007 Hi Marc I would be interested to know the where abouts of your sand lizard sitings as no records about Norfolk sitings are avaliable. as I live in Suffolk and spend a lot of time looking at herp spots in the breckland areas around Thetford and other areas. And of course ther are some good sand dunes on the North Norfolk coastline, is there a possible chance that you may have mistaken greenish lac vivs for sand lizards , or perhaps you have found an unrecorded colony that may have been introduced, I have only seen them in Surrey Hants & Dorset but they also exist on the north west Lancs coast and have been introduced within the Kent and Sussex area. regards Keith LOCAL ICYNICAL CELTIC ECO WARRIOR AND FAILED DRUID |
