Youre a star Tim ,after seeing 5 common lizards a newt and 2 toads, just as I was heading back home and 31 years after my first search,I finally found a slow worm. Here it is in its full glory with a couple of old favs thrown in.

Thanks so much Tim.

no she was a little wary, but she got a good look. Its a steep hill for a 2 year old !!!!We went to the very top.The guy at the shop had seen an adder on the bank of the river on the campsite last week,(could have been a grass snake as he had no idea what a slow worm was). One of the common lizards was under a rock ,the 2nd Ive found that way this year, also saw a newt and 2 toads.
